Hello Friends,
I know this post is rather late, but I had to say something. Everyone who is able to remember it, know exactly where they were the day the Twin Towers fell. I would like to share with you where I was.
Every morning, the years I was in High School, my Mom would drag us all out of bed bright and early to have scripture study. That morning was no exception. We all, my three sisters and I, sluggishly made our way up the stairs into the front room to read. Towards the end of our half hour the T.V. popped on.
It was completely random! We searched for the remote, finding it by the T.V. and knowing that no one had touched it. Thinking it was a bit strange, we shrugged our shoulders and just turned it off. But a few minuets later it turned on again! My oldest sister happened to be there when it did this, and caught a recap of the first plane hitting the north tower.
"You Guys!" She screamed, " a plane just crashed in to one of the Twin Towers!"
We all came racing in just in time to have front row seats to live footage of the second plane crash into the south tower. My heart sunk. I couldn't breathe, I couldn't think. I only veagly remember getting on the bus to school.
Once I got there every one, of course, was talking about it. A few were frightened, others cried, but what I remember most is the disbelief. That something like this could happen to us. On our own soil.
It was during my math class that we saw the towers fall. My teacher, bless her heart, quit really teaching math and just let us watch, talking to us about what was happening every now and again.
My band teacher, also head of the Marching Band, left it up to the Drum Majors to decide wither or not we were to hold practice. They voted yes, and it was the most beautiful practice I have ever had. All seventy of us put everything we had into our music. Making every last note count for what had happened that day.
I remember after practice almost half the band, just sitting on the band room floor exhausted and either near tears, or in complete sobs.
I will never forget.
All I can say is thank you. Thank you to who gave their lives that day. Never thinking of themselves, but of the lives of the people they might save. I pray for their families, who even 10 years later still feel the pain of that day. And to the Service men who put their lives in danger for our country daily I pray that God protects them.
We live in a blessed country, that I believe will take quite a bit more to fall.

Twitter Moose
Hello Friends,
I believe this happened about two years ago in the fall.
Lily, Luke, and I decided that a hike to a waterfall would be fantastic! We could see the beautiful colors of the leaves, and just take in the fresh smell of Autumn.
We started a little late, but were prepared with flashlights and we didn't plan to go far. For about an hour we hiked through some very beautiful country and then made it to our waterfall. By this time it was too dark to see the waterfall, but the sounds, smells, and company were worth it.
Upon arrival you can be sure both Luke and Lily had their fantastic phones at the ready with either star charts or information on the different constellations one could see that time of year. It was a blast! And I relearned a lot of the things I had forgotten from my time in YW many many years ago.
As the night became cooler we decided it was time to head back down to our car. On our way down we made sure, through Luke's advice, to as loud as possible so as not to get attacked by anything. Exceptionally Moose. For just a year ago his own sister, on this very hike had been hit my one.
We made it about half way and were getting a little tired, so naturally we took break to look at the stars once more and rest a little. That's when it all happened. Luke got very silent, very fast. Both Lily and I looked over at him with a natural bit of concern.
"Did you guys hear that?"
"Hear what?" was Lily's response as I was already freaking out.
"I swear I heard something over in those bushes."
Quietly, he pointed the flashlight towards the bushes. As he did he brought a Moose into the spot light. Realistically I'm sure he was an average moose. But at the time, I swear, he was at least the size of a semi and walking right towards up.
"Stay completely still." was the only warning issued by Luke as we huddled together and tried not to breathe.
The moose walk at least 2 steps more towards us, and for what seemed like an eternity, stared at us. Judging, I suppose, wither or not we were worth it. Luckily he decided we weren't and began to leave, when....
BLEEP!
Luke's phone went off! The moose, who by this time was headed back into the bushes began to turn slowly towards us again.
BLEEP!
Again a phone began to come to life, and this time it was mine! No sooner had mine gone off, then....
BLEEP!
Yes! Lily's phone had now joined the fun! The moose was on his second slow walk towards. I was sure we were going to die. This time he took a whole three steps towards us. Another Eternity passed when Luke began to nudge both Lily and I suggesting we start slowly backing away down the trail again. As we began to distance ourselves from our monstrous friend he lost interest and headed back into the bushes and out of sight.
It turned out that the text we had all received was from my little sister Eve who had just twittered something. Yes, Twitter almost got us trample by a moose! (Twitter rocks nothing negative!)
THE END!

Characters
Hello Friends,
So, as I left you last time we were left with the knowledge that names of the people in my stories would not have their real names attached, ever. And I am very certain that there are at least 4 characters that you will hear a lot about. They just happen to be my best frieds and are therefore a major part of my life.
The first person I would like you to meet is Lily. She is one of the best people I know. She likes to pretend that she isn't as strong as she would like, but I disagree. She has the presence of a giant. Lily is a technology, music, movie, TV, and all around Geek. Simply give her a gadget, key, or quote and she will exactly what to do with it! Lily both loves and hates everything about people. They fascinate her in every way. I know, that once she gets her degree, she will be the best help anyone can get. She's done quite a bit for me.
The second is Ava. She has the biggest heart I have ever known. You cannot help but feel loved in her presence. Her hugs are full of warmth and stay with you for hours. A single Mother of two, she is one of the best. She also has the hands of a healer. Every oil remedy or message technique is known to her. We have a joke when we are either in pain or feeling ill when in reference to Ava. "Oh! I'm sure she's got an oil for that!"
The Third is my little sister Eve. She and I have been in every type of trouble since the beginning. You name it, we well may have done it. She is as sweet and hard working as they come, very dependable no matter the circumstance, and one of the best soon-to-be chefs there ever was. Its due to her I've acquired my extra large curves.
Then, last but not least Luke. He is a world class traveler. He, like Lily, will never be found with out at least his phone. I'm fairly certain he would be lost with out it. He is very sweet, and very helpful, a great big brother, and he has a fantastic listening ear.
These are the four main characters of my life, and you will most likely be hearing a lot about them. I can't wait to start sharing! More to come soon!

Introductions
Hello Friends,
A short introduction to the remainder of my blogs. I am a story teller in my own right. Pretending I know what I am doing is something I do often, so you will have to just follow along. However, I promise you that the journeys I take you on will be more than worth it every time.
If, however, you feel that these journeys are not for you then stop reading. This is a blunt answer, I am aware, but it is the truth, and a simple fix to your personal predicament.
I don't promise to be a professional story teller. My stories will probably not be the best ever written, but I can promise that every word I right will be true and un-exaggerated.
Also, the names of the people in my story will not be the true names. So, on that account I will admit to some falsehood. Other than that, you can bet every word is true.
I do pray that you will enjoy what you read.
Thanks!
